Sidney A. Edholm, Sr., 83, passed away at 7:10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, in Fountainview Health Care Center, Mishawaka, Ind. He was the son of Sidney L. and Alice Edholm, who are deceased. Sidney was born on April 23, 1913 in Omaha, Neb. He lived in this area since 1986, coming from Grand Rapids, Mich. Sidney was employed as a Business Management Engineer for the George May Corp., Chicago, Ill., and then, for many years, as a supervisor of sales for R.L. Polh, from which he retired in 1975.

Sidney married Frances Gibbs on Jan. 23, 1937 in Detroit, Mich. Mr. Edholm is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mary Frances Willamowski of Mishawaka; a son, Sidney Allan Edholm, Jr. of Rome City, Ind.; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Dr. Curtis Edholm of Grand Rapids, Mich.

Sidney was a member of St. Monica's Catholic Church, Mishawaka, and the Legion of Mary. Memorial contributions can be made made to the church. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, where a wake service will be at 2:30 p.m. and a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25, in St. Monica's Catholic Church, Mishawaka, with burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Ind.
