Ruth D. Eberhart, 95, of Meridian Nursing Center Cardinal, died at 5:20 a.m. today in the nursing home. Mrs. Eberhart retired from Blum's Pharmacy as a cashier. She was born Aug. 4, 1898, in Mankato, Minn., and lived in South Bend most of her life.

She is survived by two daughters, Georgianna Hickey and Phyllis J. Johnson, both of Mishawaka; a son, Robert C. of South Bend; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

There will be no services or visitation. Cremation will take place. Hickey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Editor: Her maiden name was Ruth D. Anderson. She was married to Cecil Robert Eberhart who preceded her in death on Jan. 13, 1955.
