Robert Charles Eberhart

Robert Charles Eberhart, whose fatal illness was mentioned
in last Friday's ENTERPRISE, passed away that evening at 5
o'clock at his home northeast of the city.
Mr. Eberhart was born in Yates county, N. Y., April 9, 1828 and
moved to this county in 1936, where he had been engaged in
farming. He was married three times and is survived by a young
widow and four children, Palmer Eberhart of northeast of
Mishawaka; Mrs. Wes Keeley, Dowagiac, Mich.; Mrs. Frank Gardner,
of Mishawaka, and an infant son by the last wife, Cecil Robert
Eberhart, aged three years. Five brothers, Charles Robert, a twin
of the deceased; Fred G.; James C., of northeast of Mishawaka;
John H., and Frank H. Eberhart, of this city, and one sister,
Mrs. Elizabeth Bryson, of Elkhart, also survive.
The deceased was a member of the Willow Creek M. E. church and
was respected by everyone. The funeral was held from the
residence at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, Rev. Mr. Ingalls, of the
Elkhart M. E. circuit, officiating. Interment is in the Mishawaka
city cemetery.
