After over a year of suffering, patiently borne, Mrs. Frank R. Eberhart passed away on Monday morning at 5:15, at the family residence, 113 South Church street.

Mrs. Eberhart had undergone two operations at St. Joseph's hospital during the past year and her case having been considered hopeless, in spite of all that could be done, she was taken back to the family home on the Wednesday previous to her death. Her sad fate is sincerely deplored by a wide circle of friends.

Mrs. Eberhart, whose maiden name was Harriett Chapin, was born in New York, but had lived in Mishawaka since childhood. She is survived by her bereaved husband and one sister, Mrs. Frankie Dixon, who resides in the Eberhart home.

Mrs. Eberhart was a life long member of the First Memorial church, one of the charter members of the C. L. S. S., Mishawaka's first literary society, which finally became the Woman's club, of which she was also a member. She also belonged to the Society of the Hall in the Grove. For over 25 years she was a member of the S. O. C. club, one of Mishawaka's leading society organizations, whose depleting numbers finally brought about its disbandment.

The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the residence, Rev. Loren M. Edwards, pastor of the Methodist Memorial church, officiating. A wreath of beautiful floral tributes bespoke the esteem in which the deceased was held.

As the cortege started for the cemetery, the Memorial church chimes played the beautiful hymn, "Abide with Me."

The following acted as pallbearers: C. A. Ostrom, Joseph de Lorenzi, W. E. Butterworth, J. A. McMichael, R. W. Smith and William Bradford.

Editor: Burial was in Fairview Cemetery.
