Mrs. Evelyn E. Eberhart, 67, of the Cardinal Nursing Home, South Bend, formerly of Mishawaka, died at 9:30 p.m. Friday in the nursing home, after a long illness. Born in Mishawaka on Oct. 14, 1906, she had lived here all her life. As Evelyn Ellsasser, she married Russell Eberhart Sr. in Mishawaka on Oct. 14, 1923. He died in 1958. Surviving are a brother, Edward C. Ellsasser Jr. of Mishawaka, and three sisters, Mrs. Katherine Harris of Waukegan, Ill., Mrs. Harriette Louckes of Garver Lake, Edwardsburg, and Mrs. Betty Eutzler of Indian Rocks Beach, Fla., a son, Russell Eberhart Jr., died during World War II.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home, where services will be at 10 a.m. Monday. Rev. Robert Mahoney, assistant pastor of St. Bavo's Church, will officiate, and burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park.
