Donald J. Eberhart, 86, of 2020 McKinley Ave., died at 7 p.m. Sunday in his home after an illness. Mr. Eberhart retired in 1970 from Eberhart Steel Products after 25 years of service.

He was born Oct. 18, 1906, in Mishawaka and was a lifelong area resident. On April 14, 1950, in South Bend, he married Alice Diamond. She survives with two brothers, Clem of Goshen and Ray of Mishawaka; and several nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of World War II and member of American Legion Post 303.

There will be no services. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County, Inc.
