A member of one of Mishawaka's oldest families died at the age of
86 last Sunday, Sept. 27.
She is Mrs. Frederick G. Eberhart, a lifetime resident of
Mishawaka. She suffered a stroke Friday at the Ravines, Berrien
Springs, Michigan. Her home here is at 345 Edgewater Dr.
She was married to Frederick G. Eberhart June 14, 1888. He died
in 1933.
Mrs. Eberhart was a member of the First Church of Christ,
Scientist, and the Mishawaka chapter of the D. A. R. She was also
a member of the Garden Club, and the Antiquarian Society of South
Bend.
She leaves two daughters, Mrs. George W. Blair and Mrs.
Samuel Hillier, both of Mishawaka, a sister, Miss Alice Judkins
of Mishawaka, and a brother, Warren O. Judkins, of South Bend.
Funeral services were held in the Blair home with Manly F.
Miller, reading the service. Burial was in City cemetery.
