Eastwood
William Eastwood, aged 78, of 2101 South Ironwood Drive, died at 6:45 p.m.
Friday in his home. He had been ill 20 months with a heart ailment. Born in
White Pigeon, Mich., March 30, 1866, he came here in 1900. He was employed by
the Studebaker corporation for 43 years. surviving are his widow, Abbie; two
daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Chastain and Mrs. Jean Walsh; a son, William Eastwood;
seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren, all of this city. Friends may
call Sunday afternoon in the Russell funeral chapel where services will take
place at 2:30 p.m. Monday. Rev. George W. Ross, pastor of Indiana Avenue
Christian Church will be in charge. Burial well be in Bowman Cemetery. Mr.
Eastwood was a member of Fidelity camp No. 28, W.O.W.
