MISHAWAAKA - Mary C. Ealy, 72, of Iroquois, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away at 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend, Ind. On March 27, 1931, in Mishawaka, Mary was born as the daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Cabral) Amaral. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph Amaral, Daniel Amaral and Anibal Amaral.

On Oct. 25, 1952, in Mishawaka, she married James W. Ealy Sr., who preceded her in death on May 6, 1991. Mary is survived by a daughter, Linda Guy of Mishawaka; a son, James Ealy Jr., and his fiancée, Bev of Mishawaka; two grandchildren, Joel and Jason; and by a sister, Edwina Nieuwland of Dillwyn, Va.

Mary was an administrative assistant for the Holy Cross Order at St. Mary's until she retired in 1991. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her but she will never be forgotten.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 20, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th St., Mishawaka. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, in the funeral home, with Rev. Richard Dunn officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
