SOUTH BEND - Stanley J. Dziubinski, 88, passed away at 11:30 p.m.
on Wednesday, January 20, 2010, in the Ironwood Health and
Rehabilitation Center. Stanley was born on November 18, 1921, in
South Bend, to the late Joseph and Catherine (Kurowski)
Dziubinski. On November 15, 1944, in St. Hedwig Catholic Church,
Stanley married Helen (Morozowski), who passed away on February
3, 2004. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, John,
Casimir, Harry, Joe, Edward and Perry; and by two sisters, Helen
and Rose. Stanley is survived by his sons, William S. Dziubinski
of South Bend and Gary (Becky) Alan of Rolling Prairie;
grandchildren, Brian and Sarah Alan of Rolling Prairie; and
sisters, Lillian Gonsoroski of Roseland, IN, and Lottie Stock of
Indianapolis. Stanley honorably served his country in World War
II as a U.S. Marine. He built and owned the Westwood Motel for 20
years and worked at Studebaker's for 20 years as well. He was an
avid golfer and won several golf championships in South Bend
during his lifetime. Visitation will be from noon to 1:00 p.m. on
Wednesday, January 27, 2010, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S.
Mayflower Road. A funeral liturgy will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the
funeral home. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery,
South Bend. For those who are unable to attend the funeral
