Beverly L. Durrell, 52, of Brummitt Rd., Granger, Ind., died following an extended illness at 4:15 p.m. on Friday in Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Durrell was born on Feb. 10, 1946, in Springfield, Vt., to Lester and Kay (Stone) Jones and lived in the South Bend area since 1969.

On April, 1962, in Windsor, Vt., as Beverly L. Jones, she married Edwin H. Durrell, who survives. She is also survived by two sons, Jeffrey W. (Anne) Durrell of South Bend and Robert E. (Teresa) Durrell of Osceola, Ind.; three grandchildren, Richard and Jennifer Durrell and Holly Wilson; her parents, Lester and Kay Jones of Crofton, Ky.; and by a sister, Linda Cansler of Crofton. She was the co-owner, with her daughter-in-law, Teresa Durrell, of AAA Maid Services for three years. Mrs. Durrell was active in many sports and activities and was a positive influence in all of her family's lives. Beverly touched the lives of many people and will be deeply missed.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home North with Pastor Mark Pope of Community Fellowship officiating. Cremation will take place with entombment to follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph County Cancer Society, Pet Refuge, or to Hospice of St. Joseph County.
