Anna V. Dupy

Anna V. Dupy, 85, of Regency Place Health Care, formerly of Oakmont Drive South, South Bend IN, died at 2;15pm Monday, November 11, in the health care facility.

She was born on May 22, 1911, in South Bend.  As Anna Vargo, she married Willard G. Dupy on July 22, 1942, in South Bend.  He preceded her in death on October 9, 1968.

She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Humnicky of South Bend; a grandson, Phillip Humnicky of Washington D.C.; a granddaughter, Anna Humnicky of Atlanta GA; and two sisters, Mary Vargo and Joan Bukowski, both of South Bend.

Mrs. Dupy was a bookkeeper for Kuert Concrete and had last worked for Minkler Hardware.  She was a 1928 graduate of Central High School and was a member of Women I Construction, where she was one of the founding members of the local chapter.

Services will be at 10am Thursday, November 13, at Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N William St., South Bend, where friends may call form 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm today.  Entombment will be in Riverview Mausoleum.
