Martha P. Dunlap
MARTHA P. Dunlap, 64, OF 735 W. Ewing Ave. died at 1 a.m.
today in
Memorial Hospital, of natural causes. Mrs. Dunlap retired in 1979 after
27 years as
a short order cook in the fountain and luncheonette at the Robertson's
Department Store. Born Oct. 4, 1920, in South Bend, she was a lifetime
area
resident. On Sept. 25, 1937, in Elkhart, she married Darrell W. Dunlap,
who died in
January 1976. Surviving are three daughters, Sandra B. Reits of Niles,
Patricia A. Turrell of South Bend and Kathleen S. Plough of Mishawaka;
two sons.
Darrell W.jr., Richard J., both of South Bend; 24 grandchildren;three
great-grandchildren; two sisters, Elizabeth Fister and Josephine Kubsick,
both of
Elkhart; and a brother, Joseph Griman of South Bend.
Cremation will take place at Riverview Crematory. A
memorial Mass will
be at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Patrick's Catholic church and burial will
follow
in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. There will be no visitation.
The Mc
Gann Funeral Home is handling arrangements. She was a member of the
church,
the Altar and Rosary Society and Ko-op 65 Food Bank.
