Miss Mary L. Dudeck, 87, of the Ironwood Health and Rehabilitation Center, formerly of the Park Jefferson Apartments, died at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, in the Ironwood Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on Feb. 7, 1911, in Washington, D.C., and lived in this area for 18 years, coming from Washington, D.C.

 

She retired in 1971 from the Treasury Department of the Office of the Secretary in Washington, D.C., after 36 1/2 years of service.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Maude S. (Love) and Joseph P. Dudeck; five brothers, George, Albert, Paul, Lawrence and Francis Dudeck; and by a sister, Helen Theresa Dudeck. She is survived by two brothers, Edward Dudeck and Walter Dudeck, both of South Bend; and by many nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

 

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in the St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road. Services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday in St. Anthony dePadua Catholic Church, with Rev. Joseph Gaughan officiating. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Ind.
