Sister M. Nazareth Drummey CSC, 88, of Saint Mary’s Convent, died at 4:24 p.m. Thursday in her residence. She was born Dec. 26, 1902 in Monroe, Wis. as Helen Mary Drummey. She entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross at St. Mary’s on July 2, 1922; was received as a novice on Jan. 6, 19213; and professed her final vows on Aug. 15, 1925. She was assigned to secondary education and also taught at St. Mary’s College from 1936 to 1938 and 1943 to 1951. She was also assigned in Logansport; Michigan City; and St. Joseph High School and the former St. Mary’s Academy, both in South Bend. She retired in 1980. She was a graduate of the University of Notre Dame.

Services will be at 4 p.m. Monday in the Church of Our Lady of Loretto, with burial following in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, both at St. Mary’s. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Sunday in the convent where a wake will be at 7 p.m.
