Edward F. Druelinger

SOUTH BEND - Edward F. Druelinger, 84, died Monday, May
28, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. He was born June 17,
1922, in Eureka, IN, and was the son of the late Bert and Bertha
(Thurber) Druelinger.
He was married to Helen, who died November
7, 1997. Surviving are his three children, Edward E. (Barbara)
Druelinger of Granger, Marilyn (Richard) Hunt of
Greensville, SC, and Beth Bloss of Elkhart, IN; two
sisters, Ethel Stevens and Edsil West of
Evansville, IN; seven grandchildren, Jessica, Amy, Jeffrey,
Kristin, Troy, Jared and Christopher; and two
great-grandchildren, Kylee and Austin.
Edward was proud to have served his county
during World War II. He was a lifetime member of VFW #1167, and
he belonged to both American Legion Post 303 and the 99th
Infantry Division of the United States Army. He leaves behind
many memories which his family will cherish.
Friends may call today in the McGann Hay,
Forest G. Hay Chapel, from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be
at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may
be made to the American Lung Association or to the Veterans
Administration.
