NORTH LIBERTY - Deloris Joan Drinsky, 80, passed away at 12:10
a.m. Friday, July 23, 2010, in Miller's Merry Manor, Walkerton,
after a six-month battle with cancer. She was born December 14,
1929, in St. Joseph County, Indiana, the daughter of Milo and
Myrtle (Noland) Howell, and had remained a lifelong resident of
this community. Mrs. Drinsky worked with In-Home care and for
Divine Health Services. She was a member of Olive Branch United
Brethren in Christ Church, Lakeville. She is survived by her
daughter, Diane (Paul) Annis of North Liberty; her sons, Bernard
(Janice Swan) Drinsky of Mishawaka and Wayne (Wanda) Howell of
Syracuse; and six grandchildren, Jason Drinsky, Jeffrey Drinsky,
Bernard Joel Drinsky, Ashleigh Annis, Kayleigh Annis and Dustin
Annis. Also surviving are two brothers, John (Vera) Howell of
South Bend and Ronald "Lefty" Howell of North Liberty.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Cindy
Drinsky; and a son, Michael Drinsky. Her unconditional love and
smile will be missed by her family and friends. Services will be
at 3:00 p.m. Monday, July 26, 2010, in Olive Branch United
Brethren in Christ Church, 22750 Osborne Road, Lakeville. Rev.
Dan Drake will officiate. Graveside services and burial will
follow at Southlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends
from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Monday in the church. Contributions in
memory of Mrs. Drinsky may be made to Harbor Light Hospice, 4330
Miami Street, South Bend, IN 46614. The Palmer Funeral
