SOUTH BEND - Services for Letis Maurice Dozier, 54, of 146 N. Illinois St., who died Saturday in his home of an apparent heart attack, will be at 1 p.m. Friday in New Salem Baptist Church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Alford's Mortuary.

Mr. Dozier was employed by AM General Corp. as a machinist. He was born Nov. 30, 1938, in Macon, Ga. He is survived by his wife, Edna Dozier of South Bend; two daughters, Letitia Dozier McKenna of Atlanta and Sheryl L. Dozier of Macon; two sons, Letis M. of Atlanta and Calvin of Macon; two stepdaughters, Angela M. Hill of South Bend and Shanletta McCoy of Oak Grove, Ill.; two stepsons, Robert Williams of South Bend and Larry J. Williams of San Diego; four grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and a brother, William of South Bend. He was an Army veteran.
