Sister M. Ita Doyle CSC, 92, of St. Mary’s Convent died there early this morning. She was born Jan. 7, 1894 as Bridget Ann Doyle, in Kilkenny, Ireland. She entered the Copngregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross at St. Mary’s on May 31, 1912; was received as a novice Julky 16, 1913, and professed her vows Aug. 15, 1915. She was a teacher and served in elementary schools of the congregation, having spent 24 years in California, and also served in Idaho and Utah. She retired to St. Catherine’s Convent in Ventura, Calif. in 1968 where she spent seven years before coming to St. Mary’s Convent in 1975.

Sservives will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday in Our Lady of Loretto Church, with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery on the campus. Friends may call today and Wednesday in the convent parlors, where a wake service will be at 7 p.m. today.
