    Funeral services for HUGH ROBERT DOWNS, 57, of 210 E. Marion St., who died at 2:25 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph Hospital following a sudden illness in his home, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the BUBB Funeral Chapel.  Rev. PAUL L. HARRIS, pastor of the Community Congregational Church, South Bend, will officiate and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Friends may call in the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p,m. today and from 10 a.m. until the time of services on Wednesday.
