SOUTH BEND - Janet Marie Williams Dover, 71, residing in South
Bend, passed away at 10 a.m. Sunday, August 15, 2010, in Regency
Place. She was born May 5, 1939, in South Milford, IN, a daughter
of Kenneth E. and Ruby V. (Cook) Williams, and had lived in
Osceola most of her life, from 1945-1995. She moved to Peace
Manor in South Bend in 1995, where she remained until her
passing. On July 31, 1965, in South Bend, as Janet Williams, she
was united in marriage to James P. Dover, who passed away March
19, 1992. Mrs. Dover is survived by her daughter and son-in-law,
Linda and William Morrow Jr. of Mishawaka; three grandchildren
whom she adored, Jamilin (Daniel) Brouillette, Nicole R. Morrow
and Victoria F. Morrow; and a great-granddaughter, Ava
Brouillette. Also surviving are a sister, Joyce Doyle of
Mishawaka; and two brothers, Paul Williams of South Bend and Lynn
(Margaret) Williams of Lakewood, CO; and many cousins. Janet
graduated from Goshen College, and received her Master's from Indiana
University. She was an art teacher for the
Penn-Harris-Madison School Corp. for 10 years, and the South Bend
Community School Corp. for 12 years. She retired in 2004. She was
a longtime member of Apostolic Temple in South Bend. Services
will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 18th, in Apostolic
Temple, 2221 South Ironwood Drive, South Bend. Rev. Peter Rowe
will officiate. Graveside services and burial will follow at
Riverview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 - 8
p.m. today in the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718
South Michigan Street, South Bend, and one hour prior to services
Wednesday in the church. Expressions of sympathy on behalf of
