SOUTH BEND - Frank "Dennis" Douglas Jr., was born March 31, 1953 to Edith Douglas and Frank Dennis Douglas Sr. In South Bend, Indiana. Dennis, a loving son, brother, father, uncle and cousin departed this life on Saturday, March 22, 2008, following an extended illness. Dennis is survived by his mother, Edith Douglas of South Bend; two sisters, Beatrice Spears of South Bend, IN, and Shirley Townsend of St. Louis Missouri; six children, William (Rhonda) of West Palm Beach, Florida, Darnell, LaTrice, Faneice, Tyshaneka and Tyanna, all of South Bend. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Rania and Ilana of west Palm Beach, Florida, Carlos, Gabriyon, Janelle, Jamilla, Darmisha and Deja, all of South Bend, IN. Preceding him in death was his father, Frank Dennis Douglas Sr.; a brother, Gregory; a nephew, Derrick Spears and a granddaughter, Hattie Watford. He also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss him. "Dennis Doug" as he was affectionately called by family and friends attended South Bend Community Schools. He always had a joke to tell and was know for his sense of humor. He was always smiling and never met a stranger. Everyone loved when he cooked his special barbecue ribs.

Services for Mr. Frank "Dennis" Douglas Jr. Will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 31, in the Bethlehem Baptist Church, 24393 Filmore Road, South Bend, IN. The Clark-O'Neal Funeral Home has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
