SOUTH BEND - Lorraine Reta Doty, 66, of Third Lake, Ill., formerly of South Bend, died at 7:45 p.m. Monday in St. Therese Medical Center, Waukegan, Ill. Mrs. Doty was fomerly employed by Automatic Molded Plastics as a press operator. She was born July 19, 1927, in South Bend, and lived in South Bend until 1992.

She is survived by a daughter, Cathy Frechette of Third Lake; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A son, Patrick, died in 1991. She was a former member of St. Hedwig Catholic Church.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Kaniewski Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
