Carrie Dorn, 88, formerly of Brick Road, South Bend, Ind., died at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 15, in the Fountainview Nursing Center, LaPorte, Ind. She was born on March 2, 1912, in South Bend, and was the daughter of John and Sophie (Perlowski) Zagrzejewski.

On May 12, 1931, in South Bend, as Carrie Zagrzejewski, she married Frank Dorn, who preceded her in death on Nov. 25, 2000. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jennifer Dorn, who died in 1970; and by three brothers and a sister. She is survived by a son, David (Joan) Dorn of South Bend; a granddaughter, Ann Hardman of Mendota, Ill.; two great- grandchildren; and by a sister, Irene Schymanski of South Bend.

Family and friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesday in the ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
