Sister M. Clara Inez CSC, 78, of St. Mary’s Convent died Sunday in the convent after a lengthy illness. Born Clara Lucy Dolan on Nov. 4, 1897 in Roodhouse, Ill. she entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross on Sept. 7, 1917. She was received as a novice on Jan. 1, 1918 and prpfessed her vows on Jan. 1, 1920. She was assigned to teaching having served in California, Utah, Texas, Pennyslvania, Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC and Iowa, before returning to St. Mary’s Convent in 1967.

Friends may call in St. Mary’s Convent parlors, where a rosary will be recited at 7:15 p.m. today. Services wiil be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Our Lady of Loretto Church, with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery at St. Mary’s.
