Rev. Patrick H. Dolan CSC, 80, former pastor of St. Patrick’s Church, South Bend, died Sunday an Holy Cross House at Notre Dame, where he was a resident. He was the pastor of St. Patrick’s from 1943 to 1945. Born April 9, 1890 in Springfield, Ill., he entered the Congregation of Holy Cross in 1915 and was ordained in 1920. Among his assignments were 20 years spent in Mission Band activities of both the Indiana and Eastern Provinces of the order. He was prefect of discipline at the University of Notre Dame from 1932 to 1935. Before his retirement in 1961, he was pastor for 12 years at St. Bernard’s Church in Watertown, Wis. He had lived at Holy Cross House since 1961.

Wake services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Moreau Seminary Chapel at Notre Dame. The funeral mass will be in the chapel at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, with burial in the Community Cemetery on the campus.
