MISHAWAKA Mrs. Homer G. (Alline)
Dickerson, 60, of 928 Washington, died unexpectedly at 9:46
a.n. Thursday in St. Joseph Hospital following a sudden illness.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Rev. Kenneth Sarrazine, pastor, will officiate, and burial will
be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 7 to 9
p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 Sunday in the
Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home, where the rosary will be recited
at 3 p.m. Sunday. A wake service is scheduled for 8:30 p.m.
Sunday in the funeral home.
Mrs. Dickerson was born on Oct. 4, 1922 in
Mishawaka and was a lifetime resident. As Alline M. Vogler,
she married Homer Dickerson in St. Joseph Catholic Church on
April 19, 1945. He survives, along with a daughter, Mrs. Joseph
(Susan) Alpine of Cincinnati, Ohio; three sons, Gary P. of
Bozeman, Mont.; John A. of Orlanda, Fla.; and David L. of Austin,
Tex.; a sister, Mts. Louis (Lenora) Spart of Mishawaka,
and a brother, Fred Vogler of South Bend. Mrs. Dickerson was a
member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Rosary Society and
numerous civic organizations.
