Ethel W. Diamond, 82, of Trenton Court, Mishawaka, Ind., formerly of Muncie, Ind., passed away after a prolonged illness at 10:52 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 24, in her residence.

Ethel was born in Ford, Kan., to Robert and Caledonia (McHattan) Wright on Nov. 5, 1917. She was employed as a secretary in the insurance business for most of her life.

She is survived by a daughter, Hope Bartlett of Mishawaka; four grandchildren, Jay Bartlett of Springfield, Ill., Dr. Matt Bartlett of Granger, Ind., Beau Bartlett of Charlotte, N.C., and Heather Morgan of San Francisco, Calif.; and by seven great-grandchildren.

There will be no services or visitation.

The Bubb Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637-3447.
