SOUTH BEND - Services for Harvey DeWyre, 102, of West Edison Road, who died at 7:51 p.m. Tuesday in Michiana Community Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Kaniewski Funeral Home. Burial will be in Olive Chapel Cemetery, New Carlisle. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity.

Mr. DeWyre retired from Studebaker Corp. as a machinist after 36 years of service. He was born April 27, 1891, in Pemberville, Ohio, and lived in South Bend most of his life. His wife, Clara DeWyre, died in 1958. He is survived by a granddaughter, Judy Lincoln of Kalamazoo; four grandsons, Michael of Ellsworth, Mich., James of Alpena, Mich., Larry of Rogers City, Mich., and Terry of Midland, Mich.; and 11 great-grandchildren. A son, William, died Dec. 4, 1993.
