Shirley A. DeWulf, 66, of Village
Circle in Mishawaka, Ind., passed away after a brief illness at
9:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, in her residence. Shirley was born
Oct. 19, 1937, in Terre Haute, Ind., the daughter of John L. and
Mary (Zavor) Taylor. Shirley was preceded in death
by her father, John Taylor.
On March 3, 1997, she married Lawrence
"Spink" DeWulf in Naples, Fla. He died on Dec. 7, 2001.
Shirley is survived by her mother, Mary
(Zavor) Byers of Mishawaka; two brothers, John J. (Jan)
Taylor of Mishawaka and Mike (Debbie) Taylor of Elkhart, Ind.;
and by several nieces and nephews, extended family members and
many loving friends. Shirley retired in 1999 from Montgomery Ward
after 25 years of service where she was a sales clerk.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m.
on Friday at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka, with the Rev. Barry
England of St. Bavo's Catholic Church officiating. Cremation has
taken place. The Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th St., Mishawaka, is
in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family
requests contributions be made in Shirley's memory to The Second
Wind Group, c/o Memorial Hospital and Health System, 615 N.
Michigan St., South Bend, IN 46601.
