Maryann DeWulf

Maryann DeWulf, 75, of Regency Place, South
Bend, Ind., formerly of N. Center Street Mishawaka, Ind., passed
away at 5:35 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, in Regency Place, after a
brief illness. Maryann was born July 12, 1928, in South Bend, as
the daughter of the late Homer and Louise (Schmidt) Vriendt.
On Jan. 31, 1948, in Mishawaka, as Maryann
Vriendt, she married Robert J. DeWulf, who preceded her in death
on July 15, 1979. Maryann is survived her seven daughters, Sheila
(Dennis) Wood, Linda (Philip) Klein, Debra (Michael) Jennings,
Sandra (Terry) Cline, all of Mishawaka, Tamara (Michael) Stevens
of South Bend, Melissa (Mark) Weed of Elkhart, Ind., and
Cassandra "Cassie" Fitzgerald of Cary, N.C.;
twenty-three grandchildren, Jeff and Matt Wood, Tania Calderone,
Philip, Lindsay and Brittany Klein, Angela Laitinen,
Shane and Robert Stickler, Ashley Jennings, Todd, Tyler
and Travis Cline, Breeana, Corey Gregory, Michael Stevens, Joshua
and Jacob Howk, Madison and Nolan Weed, Morgan, Noah and Kendall
Fitzgerald; twelve great-grandchildren; one sister, Betty Doty
of Grand Haven, Mich.; and one brother, Richard Vriendt of
Butler, Pa. Mrs. DeWulf was preceded in death by one grandson,
David Fitzgerald. Mrs. DeWulf was a loving homemaker, mother and
grandmother and great Grandmother. She was a former member of
Albright United Methodist Church Mishawaka and a Red Cross
Volunteer.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday, Nov. 2nd in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street
Mishawaka. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov.
3 in the funeral home with Br. Steve Nani officiating. Burial
will follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park Cemetery Granger,
Ind. Memorial contributions can be made in Mary Ann's memory to
