MISHAWAKA - Services for Martha DeWulf,
89, of Valparaiso, formerly of Mishawaka, who died at 3:20 a.m.
Friday in VNA Mary E. Bartz Hospice Center, Valparaiso, after an
illness, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Bavo's Catholic Church.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4
and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Hahn Funeral Home, where a wake service
will be at 3:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to
American Cancer Society or Mary E. Bartz Hospice Center, 3305 N.
Calumet Ave., Valparaiso, IN 46383.
Mrs. DeWulf was born April 21, 1906, in
Pousele, Belgium, and lived here for 25 years. As Martha Madou,
she married Henry DeWulf. He died Jan. 3, 1952. Surviving are two
daughters, JoAnn M. Orovitz of Campbell, Calif., and
Patricia Sabbe of Farmington, Mich.; four sons, Henry of
Chesterton, Lawrence of Mishawaka, Harold of South Bend, and
Richard of Naples, Fla.; 21 grandchildren; 26
great-grandchildren; a sister, Margaret VanDePutte of
Mishawaka; and a brother, Edward Madou of Mishawaka. A daughter,
Esther Menhennett, preceded her in death. She was a member
of the church and a volunteer for American Cancer Society.
