Albert J. DeWulf

MISHAWAKA - Albert J. DeWulf, 75, of Beech Road, died about 12:20 a.m. Saturday in his home, of an illness. Mr. DeWulf retired from Huckins Tool and Die Company in 1981 as a machinist. He was born Nov. 11, 1918, in Russelyde, Belgium, and lived in this area most of his life.

On April 25, 1942, in Mishawaka, he married Gertrude B. Burggraf. She survives with a son, Gary A. of Elkhart; a granddaughter; four step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Herbert of Mishawaka. A son, David J., died in January 1994. Mr. DeWulf was a member of St. Monica Catholic Church. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Services will be at noon Tuesday in the church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home, where a wake service will be at 6:30 p.m.
