June 21, 1943 – August 16, 1996

Sandra Derr of Edinburgh Drive, South Bend, died at home at 3:49 a.m. Friday, Aug. 16. 

Mrs. Derr was born June 21, 1943 in New Haven, Conn. She later moved to Lavonia, Mich. On Sept. 19, 1961 as Sandra Hopp, she married Chuck Derr, who survives. Chuck and Sandy settled in South Bend in 1976. Mrs. Derr was owner of Total Secretarial Service until 1993.

Surviving are two sons Chuck and Kurt, both of South Bend, one daughter, Kristin Beron of LaPaz, six grandchildren, her mother Patricia Webb of Mathis, Texas, also her father Robert and stepmother June Hopp of Tawas, Mich.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 17 at Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Services will be held at the funeral home immediately following visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice.
