OSCEOLA - Rosie Arreda DePrato, 78, of 11620 Lincoln Way West, died at 8:47 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph's Hospital, Mishawaka, after an illness. Mrs. DePrato was born Aug. 7, 1915, in Johnston City, Ill.

On Feb. 11, 1939, in South Bend, as Rosie Arreda Dobyns, she married Raymond E. DePrato. He died Jan. 8, 1990. Surviving are a daughter, Carol Crumet of Niles; three grandchildren; and a sister, Eunice Cates of Mishawaka.

She was a charter member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Mishawaka, St. Mary's Circle, Rosary Society and Harvest House. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Warner Funeral Home, where a rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph County Cancer Society.
