Cloridia Dentino

MISHAWAKA - Mrs. Cloridia (Clara) Dentino, 87, formerly of 118 E. Stanley Street, DIED AT 5 P.M. Wednesday in the Golden Age Manor Nursing Home, where she had resided for three years. Born in Carapelle, Aquila, Italy, June 27, 1886, she came to Mishawaka 55 years ago from Knox, Ind.

 

As Cloridia Serafini she married Marco Dentino in Italy on Aug. 20, 1904. He died Jan. 7, 1968. Surviving are three sons, Joseph J., George and Robert M. Dentino, all of Mishawaka; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Four other children preceded her in death, Raymonf, who was killed while serving with the US Army in Europe during World War II, and Angelo, Erma and Elizabeth.

 

Friends may call from 7 to 9 today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Friday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Monica’s Catholic Church. Rev. William Gieranowski, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. She was a member of St. Monica’s Church and the Gold Star Mothers.
