William Boyd Denniston

William Boyd "W.B." Denniston, 95, residing on South Ironwood Drive, formerly of East Chippewa, South Bend, Ind., passed away at 5:10 p.m. Monday, March 29, in St. Paul's Retirement Community.
He was born Feb. 1, 1909, in Mount Sterling, Ky., as the son of Joseph Clinton and Nancy (Griffey) Denniston, and had lived in South Bend since 1941, coming from Hamilton, Ohio.
In 1935, in Mount Sterling, he married Dora Lawson. They enjoyed 56 years of marriage until her passing on Dec. 6, 1991.
Mr. Denniston is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Sandra K. and Ronald Pozzi of Bridgeville, Pa.; and two grandsons, Joel Pozzi of Mishawaka, Ind., and Bryan Pozzi of San Francisco, Calif.
He retired from Drewry's in South Bend where he served as a machinist for more than 20 years.
He was a member of Deer Run Church of Christ.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 2, in the Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend.
Entombment will follow at Highland Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Friday in the Palmer Funeral Home-River Park.
