GRANGER - Margaret E. Denman, age 76, of Granger, formerly
of South Bend, passed away at Healthwin Specialized Care in South
Bend, Friday, June 20, 2008, following an extended illness.
Margaret was born June 7, 1932 in Muncie, Indiana to the late
William E. and Hannah (Howard) Barrett. Surviving
are her siblings, Lulabelle (Carl) Nixon of Lakeville,
Indiana, Anna Beason, of Washington, Iva (Stanley) Suski
of Granger, Indiana, Sandra (Thomas) Weaver of South Bend,
Indiana, James (companion, Roy Jones) of Dallas, Texas,
and George (Norma) Barrett of Granger, Indiana. Margaret is
survived as well by several nephews and one niece, and was
preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Wagner.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to
8 p.m. Monday, June 23, 2008 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776
McKinley Highway, Osceola, Indiana. Reverend Earl Smith will
conduct the 10 a.m. Funeral Service at the Granger Missionary
Church, 50841 Birch Road, Granger, Indiana 46530. Interment will
follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Margaret was a
high school graduate, and attended Ball State University in
Muncie, Indiana. She was employed by the Bendix Corporation in
the payroll and time-keeping department before her retirement
after 43 years of service. Margaret was also a member of the
Granger Missionary Church, where she volunteered as a nursery
attendant for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading.
Memorial donations in her name may be given to the Granger
Missionary Church,
