Mary Agnes Dempsey, 86, of 507 East Jefferson avenue, died early Friday in her home. She had lived here 65 years, coming here from South Bend. She married in St. Peter’s church here 65 years ago to Thomas Dempsey, who died in 1910.
Surviving are five sons, John and Joseph Dempsey, both of South Bend; Thomas, of Logansport; William of Detroit, and Maurice, of Chicago; three daughters, Mrs. John Ready, Walkerton, Ind.; the Misses Agnes and Loretta Dempsey, at home; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 9 a.m. in St. Peter’s church here.
