Elizabeth "Betty" Dembinski, 77, passed away in her lifetime home at 5:45 a.m. on April 5, 2006.
Betty was a very selfless individual who always put the needs of others before her own. Betty was born October 26, 1928, in Mishawaka, to Josephine and Joseph Furore, who preceded her in death.
Surviving her are a son, Michael of Indianapolis, and her sister-in-law, Betty Furore of Mishawaka. Twelve nieces and nephews and a large extended family also survive her. On November 20, 1965, in Mishawaka, Betty married Ervin "Slug" Dembinski of South Bend. He passed away November 29, 2001. Also preceding her in death were her sister, Annie, and brothers, Dominic, Joseph "Pep," Anthony "Tony," her twin brother Dominic, and Ross. Betty was employed at Ball Band and Mishawaka School City for many years of her life.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today, April 6th, in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, where a Rosary will be prayed at 3:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 7th, in the St. Monica Catholic Church; friends will also be received one hour prior to the service in the church. Burial is to take place at the Fairview Cemetery in Mishawaka.
