MISHAWAKA - Luana H. DeMaegd, 76, of Meridian Nursing Center-River Park, South Bend, formerly of Mishawaka, died at 4:18 p.m. Saturday in St. Joseph's Medical Center, South Bend. Mrs. DeMaegd was born March 28, 1919, in South Bend.

On March 18, 1950, in Mishawaka, as Luana Gandy, she married Henry C. DeMaegd. He died March 13, 1971. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Kay Trimboli of Mishawaka; a son, Alan B. of South Bend; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call after 11 a.m. until services Tuesday in the funeral home.
