Robert D. DeLong, age 74, of 1021
Logan street, Died in his residence Wednesday evening at 8:45
o'clock after an illness of one week of complications. He
was born in Pennsylvania Dec. 15, 1852 and came here from
Michigan 32 years ago. He was married 44 years ago to
Hannah Romig who has been dead 11 years. Surviving
him are two sons and six daughters, George DeLong at home, Orin
DeLong of Mishawaka, Mrs. Ellen Houck of Mishawaka, Mrs.
Walter Foresberg <Forsberg> and Mrs. Earl Gordon of
South Bend, Mrs. Milo Anglin of Milford, Ind., and Emma and Edna
DeLong at home, and also by two brothers, Charles DeLong of
Mishawaka and Reuben of Pennsylvania. Funeral Services will
be held in the Free Methodist church of Mishawaka Saturday
afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with Rev. E. S. Jennings of the Free
Methodist church of Kalamazoo, Mich., officiation, assisted by
Rev. E. A. Cutler of the River Park church.
Burial will be in Fairview cemetery of Mishawaka.
