Stanley Louis Deka, 73, of 1012 W. Jefferson Blvd., died at 6 a.m. today in his home after a long illness. He retired from the Bendix Corp. five years ago after working there 22 years. Mr. Deka was born on May 12, 1894, in South Bend. On April 6, 1926, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, he married Josephine Lopour, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Mary Lou Bedwell, of Lancaster, Pa.; five grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Mary Pawlicki, South Bend. Friends may call from 7 to 10 p.m. today and 2 to 10 p.m. Friday at Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home. Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church. Rev. John J. Jakubielski, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
