MISHAWAKA - Delores DeDapper, 80, passed away at 12:21 pm
Tuesday, March 16, 2010 in Memorial Hospital. Delores was born on
January 1, 1930 in South Bend to Ray and Emma (Horvath) DeDapper.
She was a lifelong member of St. Bavo's Church and a member of
Luvability Ministries. Delores had an amazing mind. She was able
to remember everything, which came to be quite useful if you
didn't have a calendar nearby. She took great pride in her
Belgian heritage and could speak Dutch fluently. Delores enjoy
crocheting and often donated blankets and lap robes to area
hospitals. She loved to play bingo every week and especially
enjoyed participating in bingo tournaments, going to Camp Sharing
Meadows, attending Logan Center holiday dances, and her annual
birthday parties at Chuck E Cheese brought her immense joy and
happiness. Delores had a very strong work ethic and was very
proud of all the goals she achieved at Logan Industries. Ms.
DeDapper spent many years helping build Pinewood Derby kits for
the Boy Scouts of America. She enjoyed going to work and really
loved earning a paycheck! She leaves to cherish her memory, her
best friends Ruthie, Christine, Latrese, Heidi, and all of her
friends at Dungarvin, Logan Industries, and IPMG. A Mass of
Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 am Monday, March 22nd
at Saint Bavo Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Holy Trinity
Cemetery. Family and friends may call one hour prior to services
