MISHAWAKA - Edward J. DeClercq, 85, formerly of Mishawaka. Died at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday in the River Park Nursing Home, South Bend. He was born Sept. 23, 1883 in Toledo, Ohio, and had lived in Mishawaka since 1895, coming from Ohio. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Isadore Van Huffel of Warren, Ohio; Mrs. Mary Kersten of Neenah, Wis., and Mrs Ellis Zerbe of Mishawaka, and several nephews and nieces.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Thursday in the Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph Catholic Church by Very Rev. Curt A. Suelzer, pastor, and burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
