Madeline C. DeBoever, 89, passed away
on Sunday, March 12, 2000, at 10:40 a.m. in Regency Place Nursing
Home of South Bend after an illness. Mrs. De Boever was born on
May 17, 1910, in South Bend, as the daughter of the late Baziel
and Maria (Lootens) DeBoever. She was a lifelong area
resident. Mrs. De Boever is survived by her son, Norman (Patty)
DeBoever; two grandchildren, Joseph DeBoever of South Bend and
Kimberly (Joseph) Dunnuck of Niles, Mich.; and two
great-grandsons, Zackery and Matthew Dunnuck, both of Niles.
Madeline retired in 1973 from F.W. Woolworth, where she had
worked for 20 years. Mrs. De Boever was a past member of the
Sacred Heart Church, South Bend.
Friends may call from 10:00 to 12:00 p.m. on
March 15, 2000, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street,
Mishawaka. Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. on March 15,
2000, in the funeral home with Rev. John Rosol of the Bertrand
Bible Church, Niles, officiating. Burial will follow at Highland
Cemetery, South Bend. Contributions in memory of Mrs. De Boever
may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County, 111 Sunnybrook
Court, South Bend, IN 46637-3437.
