12, 1911 - Jan. 9, 2010MISHAWAKA - Marguerite L. Deal, 98, died on Saturday, January 9th, at Miller's Merry Manor in Walkerton. Marguerite was born on October 12, 1911, in Mishawaka, to Sherman and Pearl (Watkins) Ullery. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Larry and Jack; a brother, Clarence; a sister, Donnabelle Bunn; and a grandson, Tom Deal. On February 24, 1934, in Cassopolis, MI, as the former Marguerite Ullery, she married Ross Deal, who preceded her in death in July 1972. She is survived by two daughters, Dorene Deal of Osceola and Linda Deal of Walkerton; two sons, Sherman (Pam) Deal of Mishawaka and Dennis "Skip" (Linda) Deal of Vandalia, MI; a daughter-in-law, Lois Deal of Mishawaka; eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Marguerite worked for the South Bend Shirt Factory for several years. She had been a member of Albright United Methodist Church since 1924. Marguerite was a loving, caring person. She brought love and joy to everyone she knew. She will truly be missed. Visitation will be today, Tuesday, January 12, from 3 to 7 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, January 13, at 10:00 a.m., with Rev. Dennis Ingle Sr. of Albright United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Memorial donations may be made to the Albright United Methodist Church, 504 W. Mishawaka Ave., Mishawaka, IN 46545.
