William Earl "Buss" Davis,
94, of North Webster, Indiana, died in his residence on Friday,
August 11th. He was born in Providence, Kentucky, on July 7,
1912, to George William and Lucy VanDella (Shade) Davis.
Buss married the former Veronica Mary "Ronnie" Rottensteiner,
who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his
parents; a sister, Verble White; a brother, Raymond Davis; and a
grandchild, Ronnie Ray Rowe. Mr. Davis is survived by a
daughter, Beverly A. (Ronald) Rowe of Mishawaka; a son,
William A. (Bobbie A.) Davis of North Webster; five
grandchildren, Robert R.D. Davis, Teressa R.R. Sears,
Alisa A.R. Depositor, Monica M.R. Kern and Kriste
K. Vrielynck; 27 great- grandchildren and four
great--great-grandchildren. Buss was employed at Uniroyal for 42
years, retiring in 1974.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday,
August 14th, in Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St. Funeral
services will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Tuesday,
with Pastor Brian Baughman officiating. In lieu of flowers,
memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's
choice.
