James J. Davis

July 10, 1883 – December 25, 1968

James J. Davis, 85, of 214 Bertrand Rd., Niles, died at 1am Wednesday in his residence. 

He was born July 10, 1883, in Iola IL.  In March 1907, he married Maude Jeffers, who survives.  He ahs lived in this area for the past two years.  He is also survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ernest Sriver, of Niles; a son, Glenn, of Mishawaka; four grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Friends may call after 7pm today at the Hollis Funeral Home where services will be held at 1pm Friday with Rev. R. K. Kinney, of the Bertrand Bible Church, officiating.  Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
