William C. Davidson

1898-May 14, 1963

William C. Davidson, 65, of 114 N. State St., died at 1:30am today in Healthwin Hospital following an illness of several weeks.

He was born in Pulaski County IN and came here from South Bend 33 years ago.  He married Juanita Maddox who died in 1921 and on April 23, 1930, he married Lucille Lucke, in Gary.  Surviving are his widow; a step-daughter, Mrs. Jennie June Brown, of Granger; three grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. John Bender, Mrs. William Wright and Mrs. Cecil Bell, all of Elkhart, Mrs. R. J Gill, of South Bend and Mrs. Nell Hoover, of Gardenia CA and one brother, Edward J. Davidson, of South Bend.  Mr. Davidson was a retired employee of the Ben Feferman Motor Sales, South Bend. 

Friends may call in the Bubb Funeral Chapel after 7pm today and until the funeral services there at 2pm Thursday.  Rev. Raymond D. Harris, pastor of the First Christian Church, will officiate and burial will be in St Joseph Valley Memorial Park.  He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, South Bend Lodge 58.
